The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (‘GBA’) is an initiative that promotes cross-border collaboration for economic development within the region, comprising the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, as well as nine cities of the Pearl River Delta.

The Outline Development Plan for the GBA sets out the direction to transform the bay area into a major economic powerhouse with a diverse set of priorities. The main elements have been summarised in the infographic below.
