1 Cut-off time for USD/ CombiNation Passbook Savings accounts is 19:00 from Monday to Friday via Business Internet Banking or Business Phonebanking.

2 FPS Participant refers to a participant of the Faster Payment System (FPS) which may be a bank, other financial institution, a retail payment system operator, a licensed stored value facility, or any other person accepted by Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited as a participant of FPS from time to time.

3 For outward telegraphic transfer to HSBC accounts in mainland China and Taiwan, cut-off time will be 16:30. For outward telegraphic transfer to selected branches of Bank of Communications in China, cut-off time will be 16:00

4 e-Cheques submitted before cut-off time* will be processed on the same day.
